Exhibition pearls Brâncoveneşti – Elena Murariu
National Village Museum "Dimitrie Gusti" – during the 4 – 26 July exhibition of paintings and graphics “Pearls Brâncoveneşti” dedicated Holy Martyrs Brâncoveni, the painter Elena Murariu.
“Their works appear to us over the centuries as true pearl of the Romanian people. The exhibition is a unique iconographic approach from Saints Brâncoveni life, Brancovan the art and traditions of the Romanian space.” ( Elena Murariu )
The opening will take place Friday, 4 July 2014, now 13:00 la heeled "Gheorghe Focşa".
The exhibition can be visited from Wednesday to Sunday between the hours 11:00-19:00.
Within this, will be exposed over 30 graphic works made in water colors, with gold accents, paper patina reminiscent of ancient manuscripts, but remains anchored in the sensitivity of modern art. Also, will be revealed for the first time publicly, 10 carved wood works, painted on both sides, exposed in an original way that will enhance their artistic message. The pieces in this exhibition resonate harmoniously with specific National Village Museum "Dimitrie Gusti", thus creating a bridge between the rest of the museum exhibition space, between rural and urban sensibility, between past and present. The exhibition is a unique iconographic approach from Saints Brâncoveni life, Brancovan the art and traditions of the Romanian space.
