Art Pavilion Bucharest – Art Safari 2016

Now in its third edition, Art Pavilion Bucharest – Art Safari will take place between 5 și 15 more 2016, in downtown Bucharest.

Art Pavilion Bucharest – Art Safari will bring together contemporary art galleries, both in Romania, and the international environment, and a Central Exhibition that brings to the fore new directions curated museum in Romania.

Join over 50 art galleries in Romania and abroad, with works by over 800 artists of XX and XXI centuries. The event is held under the patronage of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with the support of the Israeli Embassy in Romania, in partnership with the National University of Arts in Bucharest and Hebrew Communities Federation in Romania – Mosaic Worship.

On this expedition visual participating important names in contemporary curatoriatul: Raya Sommer-Tal, Janco Dada Museum's director of Ein Hod,, Israel, and Igor Mocanu, Romanian avant-garde specialist. Central Exhibition of Art Safari will be to celebrate the centenary of the movement Dada and influence in international visual art world.

It prepared a program of conferences with renowned international specialists like Tom Sandqvist, teacher, University College of Arts, Crafts, and Design din Stockholm (Sweden); Estelle Pietrzyk, Chief Curator of the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Strasbourg (Franța); Marina Vanci Perahim, professor Emeritus, Pantheon Sorbonne (Franța); Michael Finkenthal, Teacher, Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore (YOUR) and Horia-Roman Patapievici (Romania).

As you already know, Art Pavilion Bucharest – este câștigătorul secțiunii Arte Plastice din cadrul Gala BucureştiTu – Prizes Bucharest, a gala Award honors those who give the city a soul and change things for the better. Nominated alongside major urban events, Art Safari was the public favorite Bucharest. Anul trecut, la Art Safari 2015, arhitectul Attila Kim a transformat clădirea-monument Cyclops in hotspot-the Bucharest, where contemporary art and the heritage gathered 19.716 visitors, eager to discover cultural surprises proposed second edition of Art Safari: video art, inter-media și performance (The Space, curated by Art Safari, program that presented young artists, within 25 de ani), (Talk Non Stop – prezentări de artiști), conferences and workshops for children and adults.
